Hello all. I want to publish templates to my sales team. I do not want them to be able to change the data fields that have been created (move, edit, delete, etc...). I have figured out how to protect the document....perfect, with one exception. I do want them to be able to change the Signer Role so they can use their iPads in the field to collect signatures if they are in person. (ie Host a Signing) By default the signer roles on the templates are set to "Needs to Sign" which shows up as "Remote" on the app. I would love to do this via the Docusign app but Safari or Chrome access would be okay too. My suspicion is that by locking down the templates I have also locked down their ability to change the Signer Role. Any suggestions?

I think the easiest solution would be to create copy the existing template and create a second one already modified for Hosting a Signing. Then your users can simply select which one they want to use for the specific instance.
Hope this helps.
