A while ago, a document was accidentally sent to an individual for signing. It was the incorrect document (it belonged to someone else) but they signed it anyway. We are all realizing now it was the wrong document.

I know we cannot cancel/void a completed Docusign envelope, but is there any way to restrict the recipient’s access to the incorrectly signed document? I want to be assured that the recipient no longer has access to the document sent to them in error.

Docusign will send a complete document to the Signer after the envelope is completed except send from part11 enabled account. So the signer should have a local version that you can't remove. Could you contact the signer an let they sign an new envelope which told the before contract is voided.

Does anyone know how the completed document sent to the signer? Is it via hyperlink to a download page? Or is it sent as an attachment?

Also, does the initial envelope link still work after a document has been completed?


It is send as attachment in the email of completed notification by default. only part11 account send the link without attachment.
