In your admin console, on the Sending Settings page, look for these settings:

Enable including the Envelope ID on the document

Include Envelope ID by default

This setting is greyed out in my account admin settings. These are unchecked, but I still see Envelop ID on the files. I am using trail version. My document is for self siging only. I am not sending it to anyone.

Hello @Ramesh Gokamalla,

I hope you’re doing well and thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community!

The settings  “Enable including the Envelope ID on the document”  controls whether senders can choose to include the Envelope ID stamp on documents. However, if the setting is unchecked and grayed out, it means the sender cannot disable the envelope ID stamp -- it will always appear on the document, and the sender has no control over it.

If the settings is checked, then the sender has the option to control the envelope ID stamp on each envelope by going to Advanced Options > Sender Settings when creating an envelope, choosing whether to include or exclude the envelope ID stamp for that specific envelope.

A backend settings needs to enabled by Docusign support to make “Enable including the Envelope ID on the document” option clickable and not grayed out. However, this backend setting can only be activated on paid plans. (any paid plans)

I hope this information helps. Should you require any additional assistance, feel free to reach out. Thank you!

Best Regards,
