Hello. I recently sent an envelope, there were 2 names on the contract: myself, and my prospective client.

At the moment of creating the envelope, I also had my colleague - as well as my prospective client's assistant, added for 'recieves a copy'. There is nothing for my colleague, nor my prospective client's assistant to sign.

I, as well as my prospective client, have signed the document. However, the document is not displayed as 'complete', because it is saying that my prospective client's assistant, as well as my colleague, "needs to sign" even though there is nothing on the contract for them to sign.. What is going on? And why would users not be made aware of this beforehand?

@PLee

It appears the Docusign eSignature workflow roles for those recipients were not correctly set to "Receives a Copy." This is why they are showing a "Needs to Sign" status with pending actions.

As the sender, you can correct the envelope and change their roles from "Needs to Sign" to "Receives a Copy." If all other recipients have completed their actions, this will finalize the envelope.
