Hi, I have the following problem. Can documents be sent encrypted in DocuSign so that someone with read permission in Outlook cannot see/read these documents? The access code only prevents this in the first step, but once everyone has signed, the documents are sent to all participants and the person with read permission in Outlook can view the documents.

Hello @Philip11,

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community!

From what I understand, you would like to know if it is possible to send encrypted documents in Docusign to provide document access only to authorized people. This is a great question!

Unfortunately, the process described is currently not supported - email encryption. We sincerely apologize. It would be best to disable the "Attach documents to Completion email" since you are concerned about who should access those documents. The choice to automatically send completed documents by email is an account setting controlled by the Admin on the sending account. Admin > Signing Settings > Envelope Delivery > Attach documents to completion email. ArticleEnvelope Delivery

While the feature mentioned isn’t available at the moment, the best place to share this kind of idea is on our Ideas board: Submit a feature request

That’s where ideas from Docusign users like you can submit ideas to improve Docusign’s features, and where you can also vote on ideas from other members.

We appreciate your input and hope you’ll keep the ideas coming.  Let us know if we can help with anything else!
