We would like the ability to send Purge Notification emails to envelope recipients who do not have a DocuSign account. Currently, according to the Purge Queue and Notifications documentation page, only individuals with DocuSign accounts receive the notifications.
The rationale is that our office sends DocuSign envelopes to about 10,000 unique individuals per year who are our clients and do not have DocuSign accounts with our organization. The envelopes contain documents that the clients need to retain long-term, but our organization requires us to purge the documents from DocuSign after 90 days for security reasons. We remind our clients to download and save the document locally, but it would be very helpful to have the option to remind them ahead of that 90-day mark.
Note that if this is implemented, DocuSign should make sure to make this a configurable setting for DocuSign account admins -- we should be able to toggle the notifications on/off for whether individuals without a DocuSign account receive purge notifications -- I bet plenty of DocuSign users DO NOT want this, but that there are plenty of us who do.
