Docusign

Why have you made it so difficult to report fraud. I have had to sign up to an account and now am forced here.  After signing up to an account I find I can’t delete the account.   Please provide a support phone number that I can call to resolve what appears a fraud attempt.

Thank you

@taktak :

There is an article in DocuSign support -

noting how to report fraud. You can also open a ticket (even with a free account) by going here:

https://support.docusign.com/s/contactSupport?language=en_US

and selecting “I can’t access my account”

good luck

So, just checking if I got it right:

Someone receives a fraudulent document…
and the official recommendation is to create an account they never wanted,
in order to report the fraud that forced them into creating an account.

That’s not support — that’s performance art.

Calling it a “free account” is a nice touch, as if the issue were pricing rather than consent. People are not looking for complimentary onboarding when they’re dealing with fraud.

Requiring registration, tickets, and menu navigation to report a security incident doesn’t solve the problem — it filters out the humans who don’t have the time or patience to play along.

At this point, the irony doesn’t just write itself.
It’s been fully automated.

Hello @delazaro,

Thanks for reaching out to the Docusign Community, I completely understand the concern.

For fraud reports, creating a DocuSign account isn’t actually required. If someone needs to report a suspicious sender or activity, they can submit the report directly through DocuSign’s i‑Sight fraud reporting portal.

For more information on how to report fraud or abuse, you may visit DocuSign’s official guidance here: Incident Reporting - Security Concerns

I hope this information helps. Should you require additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.
