Hi Kristýna! A DS Admin can set the default notifications for new users under Settings - Email Notifications. Ultimately, users have control over their own email notifications under My Preferences - Notifications.
A Receives a Copy user does not require a seat and can be included at any point in the Signing Order. So they could receive a copy after the 1st signer complete their action, and then again in a different position if they need to be notified later in the process.
Does that help guide you?
@grimetinna Within the envelope workflow you could add “Receives a Copy” Recipient before the first signer and after for the same person if you wanted. These notifications could provide a progression of the envelope if they are receiving a notification between each of the other Recipients as well as at the end of the envelope completion. If you had 5 or 10 Recipients who were signing this seems like a lot of additional overhead on the envelope to provide that copy between each Recipient. If that User has a DocuSign Account, whether it was personal or business and used the same email address as the copies then they could track progress of the envelope through the DocuSign account interface after they received the first notification on the envelope.
Thank you guys! This helps!
