Notification "Bayer Retention Documents to be removed"

I receive notifications about “Bayer Retention Documents to be removed” which is no problem as I’m a creator of signing process. We noticed that this notifications are received also by other signer. Is it possible to limit the receiving these notifications only to the creator? It is not appropriate that in case of 10 signers all of them get the notification about the retention.

For compliance reasons, all envelope recipients are always notified that the sending account will permanently remove the envelope from Docusign platform.

This notification is necessary because they will have the option to download and store the signed document locally. Once the document is deleted from the Docusign servers (at the sending account's request), no one will be able to access it again.

Thank you for your reply. The reason is familiar to me but our external partners would like to avoid such notifications as they are using different tools for archiving. It’s useful for members within our company but annoying for external partners. If we can get a tip how to avoid the notifications for them we’d be very thankful.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to avoid this type of notification. As I mentioned, for compliance reasons, all recipients must be notified in advance of the document's permanent deletion.

One possible solution would be to avoid using the Document Retention feature and always keep them in your account. Would this be possible, or does your company require documents to be permanently deleted after a certain period?
