I have sent out a bulk envelope with a template I created with multiple data labels. One of the “cc” recipients on 40 or so of the bulk send now has requested permission to fill in text fields for her boss. I am not sure how to modify the envelope to allow her to fill in the text portions of the documents. Any ideas?

Hello, @Amy Dorr

I have one idea.

If her boss has a Docusign account then he/she can enable the Delegation option making her a delegate. A delegate can sign on behalf and fill in text fields. After this configuration is enabled then you will need to Resend the emails notifications so both will get such emails, on this case the delegate can enter in the envelope to sign and fill in text fields on behalf of the titular.

To enable the delegation option, a Docusign user (in this case her boss) must sign in then click in their initials (top right corner in the home page), click in My preferences, click in Delegation, add a delegate, add a start date, a end date then Save.

I hope that helps, if so, I’d appreciate your like here.

Best,

Alexandre
