Is it possible to disable or restrict envelope correction in DocuSign?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to find out whether there’s a way to disable the “Correct” (envelope correction) feature in DocuSign for my account — or at least restrict who can use it to a specific set of users. (Like setting the property allowEnvelopeCorrect = false thought the esignature api?.)

So far, I haven’t found any clear setting in the Admin Console to turn this off. Does anyone know if:

  • There’s a permission or role setting that removes the ability to correct envelopes?
  • Or if this can be disabled at the account or brand level by DocuSign Support or via an API configuration?

Any guidance or confirmation from someone who’s done this would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

Chris

It looks like you’d have to use a template.

But you could set up a template with all the meta data etc and just a blank page pdf.  Then when you use the template, you replace the blank page with your document(s) pdf.
