Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble figuring out how to use DocuSign for signing documents with a qualified signature. Before subscribing, I read several articles and watched a few videos, which convinced me that DocuSign supports qualified signatures compatible with certain government institutions (I specifically need it for INPI in France).

I learned that identity verification is required for this feature. When comparing subscription plans, I didn’t see any indication that qualified signatures or identity verification were limited to certain plans, so I went ahead and purchased the basic plan.

Now, I can’t find anything about qualified signatures or identity verification in my account. I’ve spent an hour clicking through the UI and rereading the online manuals, but I’m still stuck.

I have no idea what steps I need to take next to enable and use a qualified signature. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @dtrounine,

Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community.

Qualified Electronic signatures and Identity Verification are sold as add-ons to the eSignature app. Our Sales team will gladly look into the best available offer for your use case, you may contact them by filling out the form provided below:

Once the feature has been enabled, the option to use it will be included as part of your recipient configuration, during the envelope (or template) creation process.

Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance with this.
