In this case, my suggestion to you is to contact the sender of the envelope so he/she can send a copy for you.

It’s possible you could still get to it via the original email link - unless the sender voided the envelope because it was not completed. Otherwise, like

thanks...can’t contact sender because we are in a dispute and he claims it was never sent...

DocuSign doesn’t have access to the documents which are sent - they just provide a secure platform to exchange documents. If you have the original email or the document number (from the email) then you might be able to track it down. However, if the document was voided or delated by the sender you can no longer access it.
