Thanks for bringing this up, and welcome to the DocuSign Community! The Agreement Summary is a helpful tool that gives signers a brief overview of the main points in a document. If you're the sender/admin and prefer not to include this feature, here’s how you can turn it off:
Go to your Signing Settings in DocuSign.
Find the AI Tools section under the Signing Experience area.
If your subscription supports it, you’ll see an option to disable the Agreement Summary.
If you’re not the sender, we recommend reaching out to the sender directly to see if they can disable it on your behalf.

Hi Jenny! Follow up to the OP’s question. I don’t see the “AI Tools” section under the “Signing Experience” area. If I’m using docusign through my employer (University of Colorado), does that mean there is no opt-out option, or does it mean we are automatically opted out?
I originally came to the forums looking for a way to disable the “AI Summary” prompt that appears every time I open an envelope.

Signers can opt out of using AI features during the signing process by simply not clicking the button to generate a summary or engage with the Q&A. From the screenshot you shared, it looks like you are looking at “My Preferences.” This specific setting is only available to account administrators under the Admin tab. To permanently disable it, you may need to reach out to your account admin.
