When trying to edit or add Standard Fields now to the Template Document, we can see the Standard Field but they are faint and seem unavailable to drag to the document.

Are you the Sender of this envelope with the associated document or are you a Recipient?

We are the sender of the envelope.


So when you are adding or attempting to add these standard fields, is this during a Correction of the envelope, or just prior to Sending? Also could you add a screenshot of what you see in regards to these tags/fields? It might help in providing more information.


thank you for your reply. It is prior to sending. So the message is good but for the document we attach we have to add the fields every time we send. Another way to ask is, can we save a document with the fields already loaded so we don't to redo it every time. Here is the screen shot.

 


Yes, you can create what is called a Template. Templates are a way of basically saving time through the use of the same document, Recipients, email subject/body, and field placement.

The article stipulates that creating Templates is dependent on Permissions granted to your User so you may need to involve your DocuSign Admin to make sure you have permissions to perform the actions in the article
