How do i assign template fields to a Role but not a signing role

we have a template we want to use for a bulk mailmerge. the cSV mailmerge template requires a ‘role’ at the start of each column. How do i assign to a role that doesnt require a signature?

You don’t need to mark “nonsigner” roles in the CSV. The CSV only fills people into the roles that exist in your DocuSign template. Whether a role signs or not is defined in the template itself.
