How to Use the Access Documents Feature on the DocuSign Website:

  1. Go to the DocuSign Website:

  2. Click “Access Documents”:

    • At the top right of the homepage, click on “Access Documents.”

  3. Enter Required Information:

    • You'll be prompted to enter the email address where you received the DocuSign notification.

    • Then enter the access code (if provided) or security information like the document code, depending on how the sender set up the envelope.

  4. Open Your Document:

    • Once authenticated, the document will load, and you can view, sign, or download it, depending on your permissions.

System Error: Your DocuSign request cannot be processed at this time.  Click the 'Back' button to return to your DocuSign session. If you continue to receive this error, please visit our Support Center.

Also, pressing the big Witness Signature in the email brings up a similar Error message.

All of this is not good, as I’m trying to witness a friends signature for a house purchase.

Thanks tho’.

@Frustrated Stu

Can you not access your envelope directly from the link on the email?  If you don’t recognize the sender or weren’t expecting a document, the email could be a phishing attempt or a fraudulent request. Always verify the source before clicking any links.
