I would like to use AI to check the completeness and accuracy of contracts prepared by Professional Advisors and then sent to my company for signature via their Docusign account.

I need to ensure these Advisors, who work for different companies, each of which has its company-specific forms, have prepared the forms for my signature correctly and completely.

 

Is there a preferred approach  to accomplish this task BEFORE signing or can I only do it AFTER I have signed and returned the document and received a pdf copy of the fully executed contract in my Docusign account?  

Any guidance will be much appreciated.

Just to clarify, should the Professional Advisors send the envelope, or can you have the PDF copy sent from them and sent to your signers?

90% if the time the contract must be send via an envelope generated in the professional advisor’s DocuSign account.  The final fully executed signed pdf version is sent at the end of the reivew and signature process via docusign and sometimes email.

If that’s the case, you may ask the professional advisor, as the sender, to either enable the allow to edit for the recipients to edit documents option or the markup tool. They can also set the signing order and put you as the first recipient so that you can make changes to the document if needed before it goes to other signers. Note that these options must be set up on the sender’s account configuration settings. The other option I can think of is if they can send you a copy of the document first, outside of Docusign, so you can check it and advise them if there’s a revision they need to do before they send it to all the signers.
