I sent an email to a client from our business account and the client called asking me why it was asking him to pay one dollar when I told him it was free to sign.

When you receive an email from Docusign, does it ask people to donate a dollar to charity or something like that?

No, DocuSign does not ask users for a donation or something similar. Can you ask and provide a screenshot from the client and provide it?

As you described correctly there is no cost for the recipients, as the sender pays for the transaction in DocuSign eSignature.

Thanks for confirming. My client is not very tech savy, so I am not likely to be able to have him take a screenshot with over the phone instructions, but I will try.

But this does ease my biggest concern, which was that before signing there might be a donation request for something. Making my more venerable clients a bit confused, thinking they had to pay to sign.
Thank you again.
