Hi!

I have a document that requires a signature from one individual in our organization and then signed by the counterparty. Originally I set up a template for this but I need to send out 60 of these templates and I don’t want to use bulk send because our internal signer would have to open 60 emails.

Is there an alternative to this?

I could create all 60 documents and send them to our signer and the parse them out to the counterparties but before I do that I wanted to see if there was an easier way.

Thank you for any suggestions!

Hello @Theresa Miller,

Thanks for reaching out to the Docusign Community!

At the moment, it isn’t possible for your internal signer to sign a document once and have that signature automatically applied across multiple envelopes. With bulk‑send functionality, each recipient still receives their own individual envelope, which means your internal signer would need to open and sign each one separately.

One workaround you can consider is having your internal signer complete their portion before you begin the bulk‑send process. You can send the document to your internal signer once, let them sign it, and then download that fully signed version.

After that, you can upload the pre‑signed copy and use Bulk Send to distribute it to all 60 recipients. Since your internal signer’s part is already done, the bulk‑send step will only route the document to the external recipients, avoiding 60 separate signing requests for your internal signer.

I hope this helps! If you found this response helpful, feel free to give it a like or mark it as the best answer. Let us know if you have any further questions
