We have a standard plan with Docusign, I just want to find out if our current plan complies with the electronic signature legal framework in Mexico (Commercial Code and NOM-151) or whether we need to upgrade to another plan?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @DBS,

Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community.

In order to comply with these regulations you will be required to use an Advanced Electronic Signature, this signature type differs from the basic electronic signature in that it relies on a third party Identity provider to validate the signers ID, this process will also add a signature certificate  to help protect the document from being tampered with.

It is important to note that this signature type is sold separately from our plans, if you are unable to find the settings mentioned in the guides provided below, you will need to add the feature’s add-on to your contract before they are available during the envelope creation process.
