We tried to rename a hyperlink in Microsoft Word using the 'Text to display' field (as shown in the attached). After copying it to the DocuSign Message field, the recipient of the envelope was unable to open the link. It seems that modifying the 'Text to display' breaks the functionality of the hyperlink.
Thanks

Hello @michmi.
Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community! We're sorry to hear about the issue with the broken hyperlink.
To clarify, are you using the regular DocuSign Website (www.docusign.com) to generate and send documents, or are you using DocGen or integration? If the hyperlinks were already present on the document before it was uploaded to Docusign, or if you are trying to copy the hyperlink from Microsoft Word and pasting it to a text field, this is currently not supported. Please see the steps on creating hyperlinks within Docusign: How do I create a hyperlink in a Docusign document?
If you think I misunderstood anything, please provide more context. The more information we have, the better we can help.

Good morning and thank you for your reply. The hyperlink needs to be on the Message not on the documents.
If you rename the hyperlink, it does not work.
Hello @michmi,
Sorry for the late revert and thank you for clarifying. Instead of copying it from MS Word and pasting it in the message, use the standard href code. Please try using the below. I tested this myself and it worked:
<a href="https://www.bov.com/digital-signatures">How to Sign a document</a>

Thank you. Yes this method works well. Isn’t there a simpler way may we ask? We have multiple users setting their own messages (including links) and the easier we have it the better...
Hello @michmi ,
Awesome! Glad it worked. Currently, the only option is to use HTML in the body of the email message. I understand that having a more straightforward method for your users can be beneficial. We are always open to your feedback and encourage you to submit a product suggestion or feature request to our development team for possible implementation by sharing an Idea or voting on other users' suggestions on our Ideas board: Submit a feature request.
