Hello,

We, as a German company, would like to apply DocuSign to sign our company contracts digitally. Regarding the DocuSign application, we have the following questions and would appreciate your support:

  1. In order to sign a document with the advanced form of DocuSign, what can be used as a factor for two-step authentication?
  2. Is it possible to sign a single document with all three forms of DocuSign?
  3. How can we provide effective support in supplier qualification, e.g., with documents?
  4. How can we utilize DocuSign for the creation of an overview of outstanding signatures with external partners?
  5. Does DocuSign facilitate the signature of the PSMF by multiple persons?
  6. Does DocuSign facilitate the signature of the RMP (signature) by one person?
  7. How does DocuSign ensure that the servers on which data generated from the digital signature process is stored, and on which documents set for the purpose of digital signatures are stored, are located in Germany?

Thank you for your assistance!

Hello @Sharareh,

Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community.

Q. In order to sign a document with the advanced form of DocuSign, what can be used as a factor for two-step authentication?

A. If you are referring to QES, you can use for example IDnow to authenticate your recipients, more information at Send documents for qualified signature to provide the highest level of trust to your documents

Q. Is it possible to sign a single document with all three forms of DocuSign?

A. Are you referring to Sending using Digital Certificates? If that is the case then the system would only let you choose one of the options.

Q. How can we provide effective support in supplier qualification, e.g., with documents?

A. If you are referring to providing a copy of the signed document to the parties involved when the signers finish their part they can download a partially completed and when all the signers complete the envelope they will receive a completed Docusign email notification that would let them download their documents.

Q. How can we utilize DocuSign for the creation of an overview of outstanding signatures with external partners?

A. The closest option would be to run a Report and provide that. Using Reports

Q. Does DocuSign facilitate the signature of the PSMF by multiple persons?

A. To better assist you, can you provide what PSMF stands for?

Q. Does DocuSign facilitate the signature of the RMP (signature) by one person?

A. To better assist you, can you provide what RMP stands for?

Q. How does DocuSign ensure that the servers on which data generated from the digital signature process is stored, and on which documents set for the purpose of digital signatures are stored, are located in Germany?
