When correcting the reminders on an envelope, does it get re-sent to the client when I finish the correction?

For instance a client says they want to come back to considering the envelope in a month. So I correct the reminder time. When I hit correct, does it resend the envelope or just record the change in the reminder period?

Thank you

Yes, in that case, it will resend. You can verify this in the envelope history or manually click Resend if needed.

@Clutterbug

When you correct an envelope in DocuSign to adjust the reminder settings, it does not automatically resend the envelope to the recipient. Instead, it simply updates the reminder schedule based on the new settings you applied.

So in your case, if you update the reminder to start in a month, the system will wait and then begin sending reminders based on your updated timeframe. The envelope itself will remain in its current status (e.g., "Sent" or "Waiting for Signature") without being re-sent immediately.

Let me know if you need any clarification!

thank you John, that was a very clear answer.

Next question. If I correct an envelope and my correction involves replacing parts or the whole of the envelope, Docusign does resent the envelope in that case, correct?

Thank you
