How can I copy a document with complex fields from one template to another existing template? Creating a new envelope to send is not an option, as this will be accessed by my signers via a link embedded on my webpage.

This is a bit of a complex work around, but I’ll try my best to explain it. You will need to create a new envelope with both templates that you need. Make sure your two templates have the exact same role names and routing orders to make the combining of recipients easier. You can do this by first utilizing the first template, and then adding in a new document, but “Use a Template” instead of uploading a new document. Select your second template. You will now have created a “Combined” envelope. Send this envelope. Go to the Agreements tab and save this envelope as a template. You now have a single template combining the two templates you previously had. Test thoroughly, to make sure that the combining didn’t have any unexpected results. When you are ready to make this the new template, go to the existing template with the Active Powerform link and select “Edit Powerform”. Under the “Summary” section on the right hand side, you will see the Template name that Powerform is linked to with a “Replace” option. This will allow you to keep the existing URL that you have posted while updating the underlying template.

I am using the mentioned template to create a webform and have a link to my form embedded into my website. This solution will not work for me. Are there any other options to copy a document with complex fields from one template to another existing template?
