Candidate filled in wrong details to the Compliance form (TFN / Superform), as admin we are unabel to edit the generated pdf to correct details.

Whenever we try to edit the pdf it says, it is already signed.

But candidate hasn't signed yet

We have a few questions:

  • Where was this document generated/sent from? The regular DocuSign Website, or integrations like CLM, Salesforce, etc.?
  • You mentioned you are trying to edit the generated PDF. Do you mean you are trying to correct an envelope? Are you trying to edit a text field?
  • When you navigate to your Docusign Inbox/Sent folder, what is the current envelope status? Does it show as In progress or Completed, or does it indicate that the candidate has already signed?
  • May you please describe step by step what the candidate was doing when the issue appeared? For instance, did they fill out the form, and when they realized the details they entered were incorrect before completing the signing process, could they not change it? Did they close their browser, or click finish later
