Can you use DocuSign with preset fields in templates?

Question

I would like to create an application with preset fields in templates. I have attempted to do this, but I am being prompted to reset the fields every time I want to use the template. Is it possible to create a template and preset the fields without having to redo it every time I want to use that template?
