I am trying to get the template matching feature to work correctly. We have about 22 pages that get uploaded for a customer(s) signature. When I apply the template match feature with the corresponding paperwork, only about the first 5 pages match up to the signature lines and then it gets all messed up. I have adjusted IDR on various pages and that doesn’t even work. I have my sensitivity level to 60. How do I get these to match up the whole way through? What am I missing? TIA!
Hello

I understand that you wanted the template matching to work as it should. Rest assured, I’m here to help.
Have you tried to Set Custom IDR Zones?
Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR) is the process that reviews the text and information in a document to determine if it matches a saved template. By default, template matching examines the first and last 25 words in a document. To get more precise matching, you can add custom IDR zones to your template documents.
Setting IDR zones is useful if you have multiple documents with similar opening and closing texts. You can set IDR zones to focus on unique portions of the document.
You can select any region of text within a document for IDR. There is no limit to the maximum or minimum volume of text that you can select to define a match. However, the less text you select, the more false positive matches are likely. The more text that you select, the longer the matching process will take.
- Go to the Templates page.
- Locate the template that you want to edit by searching, filtering, or simply scanning the Template list.
- Click the template title to select it and open the template details view.
- Click EDIT to open the template for editing.
- Click NEXT to continue to the Add Fields view for the template.
- Click the gear icon at the top of the list of documents and select Add IDR Zones.
- In the IDR Tool panel, click and drag the Add IDR Zones tool to the text you want to mark as an IDR zone.
- Click and drag on any of the sizing handles in the corners of the IDR zone to encompass the area you want to use for matching. Click and drag to zone to move the box around on your document.
- Add additional zones as needed. When you're finished adding IDR zones, click DONE in the banner at the top of the page.
- To edit existing zones, from the template Add Fields view, click the Edit IDR Zones link at the top of the Documents list.
- Edit the zones as follows:
- To change the location of a zone, click and drag it to the new position.
- To remove a zone, click to select it, and press DELETE on your keyboard.
- To resize a zone, click to select it. Then click and drag on any one of the sizing handles at the corners of the zone.
- When you are finished adding and editing IDR zones, click DONE > SAVE AND CLOSE.

"Select as Best" below if you find the answer a valid solution to your issue
Yes, I have adjusted the IDR fields on all the forms. It continues to not line up signatures where they should be.
Hi
Apologies if the issue is still unresolved even after you edit the sensitivity and adjust the IDR. Since this community focuses on general guidance, we highly recommend creating a support case so you can have a Zoom call with an expert to investigate the issue further.
The workaround is to submit a case without logging into your account by using the “I can’t access my account” option at the bottom of the page, then click “Other issues” and provide complete details of the issue in the Case description.
Or you may click this link: Get Support.

Hello! I actually just hung up with Kattia after submitting a case. Figured it out. The problem was that if a new document that wasn’t included in the template got uploaded, it would begin to apply the signatures in the incorrect spots. So, I am going to have to create a few more templates to use to make sure everything gets in there or just upload all the documents possible and remove what’s not needed.
