I typically send a document to be signed on behalf of someone. I would like that person to receive notifications if the signer has viewed the document. Is that possible?

Hello @sandys.

I trust all is well. Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community!

Rest assured, we are committed to providing you with the best service possible.

Just to clarify, are you referring to the notification for a delegate ( Add a Delegate To Sign on Your Behalf ) or for a carbon copy recipient?

Meanwhile, I am sharing this with you. Only the recipient has complete control over their notifications by modifying their notification settings. Article: Manage Notification Preferences.

Please note that the person who receives notifications about all recipient/s activities, such as viewing and signing documents, is only the sender of the envelope.

Let us know if you have questions or if you need further assistance. Thank you!

Hello Melanie,

The latter, for the carbon copy recipient. However, in your message, you did note that, only the sender of the envelope receives notifications about all recipient/s activities. Thank you. My question is answered.
