Hi I'm trying to setup a Bulk CSV template. It's a bit tricky. Basically, Party A (my staff) aren't allowed to know the information for Party C (New clients) until Party B has them sign the document provided by Party A. Essentially, I need Party B to be able to add their CSV to template initiated by Party A and send the Template to about 50+ different Party C.

Is there anyone to do this?

Hi @Office_Tech732,

Welcome to the Docusign Community — we're glad you're here, and happy to share knowledge with you!

From what I understand, you're looking to implement a Bulk send workflow where Party A provides a document, Party B facilitates signing with Party C, and Party C's information remains confidential from Party A until Party B has secured their signature. Correct?

If Party A is designated as the sender, they would be responsible for entering recipient details or uploading the CSV file 👉 Bulk Send Work Process

However, Party B could be the sender to upload the CSV containing Party C's details. Depending on your Docusign account set up:

If Party A and Party B are within the same Docusign account, Party A can initiate and share the Template with Party B for bulk sending. If not, Party A can download the template as a JSON file and share it with Party B, who can then upload this JSON file to their account and use it for bulk sending.

My suggested workflow is as follows:

Party B - Sender

  • Signing Order 1: Party C - Signer
  • Signing Order 2: Party A - Signer/ Receives a copy

Please implement a signing order to ensure Party A does not have access to Party C's information until the documents are fully signed.

If the requirement is that Party A must be the sender, you can use Specify Recipient feature in your Bulk Sending (Party A Sender: 1 Party B Specify Recipient -  2 Party C Signer ). However, Party B would then receive 50 envelopes and need to manually enter and specify all recipients’ details for each envelope, as there is no CSV option for this shortcut in that scenario. Furthermore, you can also explore non-bulk options such as Powerforms.

I hope this guidance provides you with a clear understanding of the process. If I've misunderstood anything, please don't hesitate to provide more context. I'm here to assist you in finding the best solution that suits your needs.
