We’re thrilled to introduce a powerful new update designed to streamline your access to customer usage insights. Starting January 22, 2025, Customer Usage Reports will be readily available directly from the Docusign Partner Portal.

 

What’s New?

  • Self-Service Access: View and download customer usage data in a CSV format right from the Docusign Partner Portal.
  • Daily Updates: Reports are updated daily, ensuring you always have the latest insights.
  • Subscriptions: Opt in to receive weekly or monthly reports tailored to your needs.

Available Data Points Include:

  1. eSign Site ID
  2. Account Name
  3. Billing Country & Region
  4. Docusign Account Type
  5. Account & Billing Status
  6. Opportunity Details (Name, Stage, Type, and Order End Date)
  7. Usage Metrics (Projected Usage Score, Consumption Within Contract Term and Overall)
  8. Envelope Allowance & Sent Stats
  9. Customer Success Manager

Who has Access?

  • Only Docusign Portal Admin from Reseller Partners can access the Usage Report Feature

How to Access?

  • Log in to the Docusign Partner Portal and select "Access your reports." You can also find the reports under the Tools & Resources tab.
  • This will take you to the dedicated page where you can view and download your reports.

This is the highly anticipated and incredibly practical feature we've been waiting for! In the past, we even tried to coordinate with our channel director to send us these reports regularly.

Understanding our customers' usage data is crucial for us. For customers with low usage, we can quickly investigate the reasons and encourage them to start using the solution. For those with rapidly increasing usage, we can proactively prepare for renewals and ensure everything is in place ahead of time.

Yesterday, I checked my Partner Portal but couldn’t find this menu yet. I also tried submitting a Partner Support case, but I haven’t received a response so far.

I’m really looking forward to using this feature soon—thank you for introducing it!

It’s possible that the profile assigned to you in the Partner Portal does not currently have access to the Customer Usage report. I’ve reached out to our support team to review your permissions, and they will provide an update as soon as possible. Please let us know if you need any further assistance in the meantime.

@Reuben.Ng Thank you for following up. I opened a Partner Case, and they were able to resolve the document issue. However, I still have a few questions that support hasn’t yet addressed. For instance, I would like to understand the meaning of each column in the Customer Usage report. Additionally, I noticed that some columns, such as the envelope count, are displaying zero, which is a bit unclear.

Furthermore, it would be very helpful if a column could be added to indicate the subscription plan type (e.g., Standard, etc.).

I appreciate your continued efforts to improve these features and look forward to further updates. Thank you!
