When I void a document how can I prevent notifications of the recipients of the document voiding

We understand you'd like to explore the possibility of disabling notifications received by recipients when an envelope is voided. You've pointed out that some unsigned recipients are receiving these notifications, despite our documentation stating otherwise. No worries, we are here to provide clarity and guidance.

When you void an envelope, all recipients who have either finished signing or whose turn it is to sign receive an email telling them that the envelope was voided. Only recipients who are further down the signing order, and have not yet reached their turn to sign are the ones who do not receive any voided notifications. 👉 Notifications for Voided Envelopes

📌Note that recipients generally control their own notification settings. If a recipient has enabled the notification for when "The sender voids an envelope," the sender does not have a direct way to control or disable it from their end. 👉Manage Docusign email notification preferences

If you wish to void an envelope and prevent notifications from being sent to recipients whose turn it is to sign, you can correct the envelope to remove them from the signing order. After you correct the envelope, you can void it, and notifications will be sent only to the recipients who have already completed their signing process.
