Hello, can you tell us how we can access the configuration interface for Single Sign On. We need to upload a new certificate there.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Mario

Hello @Mario B.

Thank you for reaching out to the DocuSign Community! We appreciate your engagement and are committed to fostering a supportive knowledge-sharing environment.

I understand you are seeking help on how to upload a new Identity Provider's Certificate. Absolutely! I'm here to guide you through it 😊

To upload your Identity Provider’s certificate to Docusign:

  1. Log in to Docusign as an Organization Administrator.
  2. Select the waffle menu in the upper left corner.

  3. Choose Admin.

  4. Under the heading Access Management, select Identity Providers.

  5. To the right of the target Identity Provider configuration, select Actions then Manage Settings.
  6. Select the Certificates tab.

  7. Click the + Add Certificate button.
  8. Upload the certificate (.cer) from the saved location on your computer.
  9. Select Save. Your IdP certificate is uploaded to Docusign.

Note: If you do not see the waffle icon, it indicates you are not an Org Admin. To perform this action, please get in touch with the Org Admin.

Hello,
we can't find the organization admin. How do we know who this is or how can it be created?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Mario

Hi @Mario B., sorry to hear that.

If your account is already linked to an Organization, it cannot be linked to another Organization. You’ll need to request that the current Organization Admin/s update the certificate. Kindly check if you can locate the Org Admin's contact details following this guide: Who is my Docusign Account Administrator? If you can't spot any contact details, your manager or your IT department may be able to point you to where to get that information.

You can also Open a case in the Docusign Support Center so our internal team can help reach out to your Organization Admin on your behalf, or assist you with the steps on how to be added or promoted to be a new Organization Admin.

🔜Good news! We are launching a new “View Organization Admins” feature that enables Account Admins to see the list of Organization Admins tied to the organization (if the account is linked to one). The project release target is mid or end of July 2025. Check our Release Notes for updates and announcements.

Let us know if you have questions or need further assistance. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Hello,

thanks for your help.

I can't find points two, three and four.
Is there another way to upload the certificates? I also have a contact person at DocuSign, but he doesn't get back to me.

Thank you.

Hi there @Mario B.,

Only the Org Admins have the necessary permissions to upload the Identity Provider certificate. As previously mentioned, I would recommend opening a support case. This will allow our technical experts to reach out to your org admin or assist you in becoming a new org admin, so you can upload the certificate on your end. 👉Open a case in the Docusign Support Center

If you already have one, you can send me a private message with your case number so I can help you follow up.

Sincerely,
