Migrate documents from old to new account

Hello

 

As the IT support for my company, I received a question about whether it’s possible to migrate documents from a private account to a company account. Does anyone know if this is feasible and, if so, how to do it?

I understand that you are looking to transfer envelopes between accounts, and I will share more details on the topic.

 

You can transferred envelopes between acounts that are hosted within the same eSignature server, and belong to the same DocuSign Organization.

 

Organization Administrators can transfer envelopes between their accounts in DocuSign Admin>Envelope Transfer.

Note: Some advanced features and options are supported only in certain Docusign plans. Your account plan might not support some options discussed in this help topic.

The problem we have is that the account we want to transfer from isn't in our organisation

Hi @Sepp,

 

Thank you for following up.

 

Envelope transfer is only available for accounts hosted in the same Docusign server and that are part of the same Organization at this moment. As a workaround, I would suggest manually downloading the completed envelopes in the user’s personal account.
