Good morning,

I noticed that the shared envelopes module are being updated.

I’m unable to remove a user from a shared envelope that was configured before DocuSign team updated this module.

I followed the new instructions (please see below), but the use does not display in this list and still displaying in the previous list (where the users who belongs to my shared folder displays)

I also want to keep the user in the same organization as he has other envelopes that he is responsible for.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

 

View or Remove Shared Access with a User

As an administrator, you can view and manage the shared access with a specific user. The Shared with wUser Name] page shows the list of users that the current user shares access to their envelopes.

  1. From the Accounts view, select Users.
  2. Locate the user that you want to manage sharing settings for, and select Actions > Manage Shared Access.
  3. Select Shared with SUser Name].

    The users that shared access to their envelopes with this user are listed.

  4. (Optional) Select View next a user name that has the shared access for this user.
  5. In the list for the shared access for the user you selected, select Remove to remove the shared access to their envelopes for the user you are managing.
  6. Select Remove on the confirmation message.

    The shared access is removed for the user.

The steps outlined in the article are indeed correct for removing a user from shared access. However, "Shared Access" and "Shared envelopes" are two different features. Shared envelopes are now considered a legacy feature and are in maintenance mode only. This means the method for managing them differs from current shared access functionalities.
To remove a user from a legacy shared envelope, please follow these specific steps:

  1. Navigate to the Admin section within your DocuSign account.
  2. Select Users from the Admin menu.
  3. Locate your name, then click on Actions, from the dropdown menu, select Manage Shared Access.
  4. At the top of the "Manage Shared Access" page, you will find an option labeled Share user's envelopes. Click on this.

     

  5. Finally, you should see the option to remove the specific user from the legacy shared envelope.
