Prior to her current position as Director of Product Management at Freelink Hong Kong Ltd., Jing Ji spent over ten years as a full-stack software engineer, specializing in the development and architectural optimization of enterprise-level systems. As she says, “My interest in software development began when I was very young. I still remember the first time I saw a 486 computer — and how amazed I was watching my older brother use it for CAD design work. That moment sparked my fascination with computers and their capabilities.” Jing later studied at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. 

Over the years, Jing has held various roles in the tech industry, including developer, solution designer, post-sales developer, and project manager. Each of these roles helped her deepen her understanding of both the technical and business sides of software. Says Jing, “As a developer, what motivates me is knowing that even small technical improvements can make a meaningful impact — whether it’s making a product easier to use, helping a team work more efficiently, or contributing to broader industry progress.”

Proficient in both back-end and front-end technologies, Jing has led efforts to both develop and improve enterprise management systems, and has comprehensive skills in system implementation and delivery. In her current role, she provides clients with Docusign API/SDK integration consulting services. She recently earned the Certified Docusign eSignature Technical Consultant certification, currently held by fewer than 10 people worldwide. As a technology-driven consultant, she is committed to transforming complex processes into efficient and sustainable technical solutions, empowering customers in their digital transformation journey.

As a certified Docusign partner, Freelink offers real-time online bilingual (Chinese and English) operational support and integration consulting, earning strong recognition from clients. Freelink received the Docusign 2024 APAC Reseller Growth Partner of the Year award. Freelink’s customers span a wide range of industries, including internet, new energy, high-end manufacturing, life sciences, and gaming. These organizations typically deeply integrate Docusign APIs with their internal business systems to enhance workflow efficiency, strengthen data flow capabilities, and meet compliance and security requirements amid rapid business expansion.

Given her leading role, Jing has spearheaded many Docusign integration initiatives. Some examples: 

• Docusign API integration for a leading food delivery platform, growing envelope usage exponentially and significantly improving interdepartmental data processing and contract signing efficiency.
• Successfully enabling a global pharmaceutical company to achieve 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, for whom Freelink designed a fully customized signing process leveraging various Docusign IDV (Identity Verification) mechanisms. This helped the client successfully meet Part 11 regulatory requirements in areas such as clinical trials, quality control, and regulatory document handling.
• Shepherding Freelink’s major Docusign clients through the process of updating their SenderView API usage prior to the scheduled deprecation of the legacy version of this Docusign feature, ensuring a smooth transition before the deprecation deadline and avoiding compatibility-related security risks and business disruptions.
• Freelink was the first Docusign partner in the APAC region to help their clients integrate Docusign electronic seals into their e-signature processes. This allowed customers to shift from manual stamping to an automated, reliable, and auditable sealing process while ensuring seal legality, regional compliance, and audit readiness.
