Has anyone automated exporting reports in CLM? It looks like something you can do in e-sign, but I haven’t figured out how to do it in CLM.

Hello @amtillie

Welcome to the DocuSign Community!

Yes, we can automate the report using smart rules. First you need to create a “schedule” and then you have to create “schedule smart rule” and leverage the “schedule” that you created. and via this you can automate the report to save it or send to particular user.

Let me know if you need further help.

Thanks!

I tried to do this by using the “Send Report” option in Smart Rule, however, when I go to the drop-down to select the recipient to receive the report, I’m unable to select any recipient as the “To:” drop-down list seems to be empty -- when I click on the drop-down arrow next to the “To:”, nothing happens (ref: attached screenshot).

You are almost there. The missing piece is that you need to go under “Contacts” on the top navigation and create a “mailing list”, which you will be able to use in the drop-down from your screenshot.

If you want to add non-CLM users, you need to create them as contacts first before adding them to the mailing list.

Thank you @Michael.Rave.  Your solution was spot-on.  I’m a novice to this community and not able to find the “Select as Best” option in your note above.  So hopefully this note suffices, or else, please let me know how to select this option and I will be happy to do so.
