Hi - some of my users use the MS Word online option to make edits to a contract and it is creating a new version with each change.  I read that in 2022 this was changed to make it only save after two minutes of inactivity.  Does anyone know how to add in that option?  Is there a better way to handle the MS Word online option? Thanks in advance.

Hello @TanyaSestak

Welcome to the DocuSign Community!

Users with licenses of Microsoft Office Online can use it to edit Docusign CLM documents within a web browser. This enables users to make changes to documents without having to leave their web browser. Changes to documents are uploaded as new versions of that document.

As you asked to handle that MS Word online option, To enable or disable the Microsoft Office 365 integration in DocuSign CLM, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to DocuSign CLM as an Administrator.
  2. Select Admin from the navigation header.
  3. Navigate to Document & Folder Settings.
  4. Check the box for Enable Office 365 Integration.
  5. Click Save.

Thanks!

Hi @TanyaSestak,

Can you post the link to where you read about the 2022 change? I think it must mean in addition to creating a new version after each change, it will also save after two minutes of inactivity. As far as I know, there has not been a change to the save functionality and will still create a new version after each change.

Thank you,

Kelly
