Hi Guys,

Quick question, I’m looking at a task that was uploaded a while back, the status says it’s in a queue for legal review but then when I look at the status in the folder it says the task is not currently in a workflow, why would that be?

Hello @Pfano15

Welcome to the DocuSign Community!

To better understand what might be happening, could you please share a few snapshots—specifically of the task view showing “in queue for legal review” and the folder view where it says the task is not in a workflow? That will help us troubleshoot the discrepancy more accurately.

Looking forward to your response!

Thanks!

Hi @Pawan Gangwani thank you for your response!

Sure, please see the snap shots attached of the Task View as well as the Document Folder view.

The matter is Bata Scope of Work, which I’ve ticked.

I really appreciate your assistance.

hello @Pfano15

Thanks for sharing the snapshots.

From what I can see, it appears that the workflow associated with the document might have either been completed, aborted, or failed. The task shows as "in queue" is because of “Update description step” in workflow that might not be relevant in this case while the Task view indicates that it's not currently in a workflow.

Did you have a chance to check the workflow status under Admin > Workflow > Workflow Activity? That should provide more insight into the current state of the workflow.

If the workflow has indeed been completed, aborted, or failed, I’m afraid the only way forward would be to initiate the document again from the beginning.

Let me know what you find in the Workflow Activity section,

Thanks!
