What step would I need to call within the CLM workflow to update a user's permission, specifically to their CLM security?

I need to automate this process.

Hello @mshealy

To automate this process, you will need to use the "Update Security" step within the CLM workflow. This step allows you to modify a user’s CLM security permissions programmatically as part of the workflow.

Thanks!

Thanks for that but what I need is to update the users permission profile to be able to say change it from no clm access to CLM User.

Hello @mshealy

Unfortunately, updating a user's permission profile (e.g., changing from No CLM Access to CLM User) can not be done directly within a workflow. While it’s definitely possible to fetch or view a user's current permission profile, modifying it has to be done manually via the admin console user management settings it's not something that can be automated through the workflow logic itself.

Thanks!
