Webform name change not reflected in final email

To answer your question directly: this is not a bug, but rather a known configuration within Docusign Web Forms.

When you change the name of a web form, our system only updates the external title shown on the interactive form. The completion email text is actually pulled directly from the name of the underlying template you used to build the form. It does not update automatically when you rename the web form itself.

As a workaround: 

You can easily change the name by updating the template settings inside your Web Form builder. Here are the steps to fix it:

1. Log into Docusign and open the templates tab > go to My Web Forms.
2. Find your form, click the actions menu, and select Edit.
3. In the builder interface, look for the Document / Template Actions settings.
4. Click on Edit Template Settings.
5. Locate the Template name section (you will see your old form name listed here).
6. Update this field with your new form name.
7. Save and Publish the changes.

Once published, all new signers will see the correct, updated name in their completion emails.

I made that change and the old name is still being used.
