We had a great time hanging out with developers at Camp Mini Hack at Salesforce TDX 2025 last week! This year, TDX was all about empowering developers to build with Agentforce. Docusign and Salesforce are longtime partners, and TDX showcased how that partnership continues to evolve as we enter the AI agent era. As Salesforce announced AgentExchange, the trusted marketplace for Agentforce, Larry Jin, VP Product Management at Docusign highlighted how Docusign has already begun developing Agentforce components for AgentExchange:
“AgentExchange unlocks new technology and markets for Docusign, expanding our reach and impact. We’ve worked closely with Salesforce to develop agent actions to integrate them seamlessly into our customers’ workflows. Our sales and service customers will now be able to leverage Agentforce and Docusign to automate common agreement-related tasks without the complexity of developing their own proprietary agentic technology.”
In light of these announcements, the Mini Hack was the perfect place to demonstrate how developers can leverage Docusign IAM in their AI agents.
In the Mini Hack, developers walked through a variety of technical challenges related to building an AI agent with Agentforce. One of these challenges involved enabling the agent to call the Navigator API to reveal AI-powered insights about Docusign agreements.
Developers had the opportunity to explore agreements in Docusign Navigator.
Next they built Apex classes featuring HTTP callouts to the Agreements: getAgreement endpoint. Finally, developers built custom agent actions that called their Apex class. When the challenge was complete, users could ask the AI agent for details about their Docusign agreements and the agent would parse the JSON response from the HTTP callout to return key information and AI insights formatted in a user-friendly, readable format.
And of course, there were plenty of fun prizes and Docusign swag to go around! Developers who successfully built custom agent actions also received an Apple Air Tag.
Thanks to everyone who developed with Docusign IAM at the Mini Hack! We loved seeing your hacks in action and hearing about your experience getting hands-on with Navigator. We heard from some developers who were so excited about Navigator that they planned to keep building on top of what they had created at the Mini Hack. We’d love to hear your feedback as you get started as well. Let us know how it’s going by posting in our developer community. It was awesome to see how the insights provided by Navigator can be integrated with Agentforce to provide a seamless, AI-enabled user experience.
