If I forward an e-mail from DocuSign with a request for a signature to another person, they can open the link and sign on my behalf. There is no identity check beforehand.
How can this be prevented?
Thank you.

Hello Mario,
DocuSign can't prevent email forwarding, but it's clearly stated in the envelope instructions - "Do Not Share This Email", indicating that the email contains a secure link to DocuSign, and should not be shared along with its link or access code.
Additionally, as the sender, you have the option to include a personalized message to the signer, reinforcing the instruction not to forward the email and to contact you if access is needed.
You can also set up access codes for each recipient, separate from the signing invitation emails sent by DocuSign. Recipients must enter these access codes to view the envelope contents.
Moreover, DocuSign offers third-party identification services like IDV, phone, sms authentication to help verify recipient identities more reliably.
