I understand that you’re experiencing issues with connecting your DocuSign account with your Salesforce account.

This error occurs for one of the following reasons:

  • The user is entering credentials for a user to whom the API user ID does not match the DocuSign username in Salesforce.
  • The user is entering credentials that does not match the DocuSign user connected to the Salesforce user.
  • If no credentials have been entered, and the error message displays immediately, a credentials session is still saved and active in the web browser.
