Hi, I am building out a process that triggers the document envelope from Salesforce and then archives it in a SharePoint site. Is there a way I can retrieve the link to the sharepoint file and bring it back into salesforce? I want to add a link in the Salesforce record to point it to the signed contract.

Hello @MaahiGoel ,
Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!

My apologies, can you clarify if you need a link of the document that is being stored in SharPoint, if you need a the link to the folder where the document is being stored in Docusign or if you want a link to be written back automatically to Salesforce that takes the user to the document?
Let me know if this helps. If you need a little more assistance, please provide more details about what’s going on.

Best regards,

I would like a direct link to the signed document written back into Salesforce record once it saves in SharePoint. Is that something I can do?

Hello @MaahiGoel ,

Thank you for reaching back.

The documents do not have a direct link to them, at least not one that is provided by Docusign, however, you could store the document in SharePoint and check if a link is provided there.

Hi, there is a link for each document in SharePoint. I’m trying to figure out a way to write it back to Salesforce though once it writes the document to Sharepoint. Is that something Docusign could retrieve?

Hello @MaahiGoel ,

You would need to leverage the Salesforce and SharePoint API’s to do this programmatically. If we write a document to SharePoint, there’s no out-of-the-box way to have SharePoint return a shared URL, then have us write it to Salesforce. However, can you provide more context about what you’re doing today and how the documents are ending up in SharePoint?

Also, we have our Professional Services team that can help you access your requirements and provide consultative guidance of how to implement a solution. There are also service integrator partners of ours that can help
