Hi Everyone -

Long time lurker - first time poster.

We have OLDer, retired packages that seemed to have bit the dust this week - We have docusign for esignature and docusign for Salesforce CPQ (Retired) -

We have about 80 CPQ quote templates and recently, users are getting an infinite screen load when clicking on “Send with Docusign” from the quote.

As a workaround, I’ve removed the “Review before sending” from all quote templates (but i hate this for user experience) - but it works.

No one wants to help because packages are retired so I get it - but my question is - for everyone using CPQ and Docusign and had to migrate to DAL (which we do have but we only use for SF billing w/ Doc Gen) - is it possible to build the same button/user experience? Can I use the quote templates I’ve already built? Anyone with any guidance?

Hi @lchickery,

Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community.

The Docusign for Salesforce CPQ deprecated package was not developed by Docusign, and due to this reason its records cannot be migrated, as these are incompatible with our products. Under these circumstances, you will need to recreate your templates in Docusign Apps Launcher.

Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Not entirely. I understand that the Docusign for Salesforce CPQ package has been deprecated.  I’ve done a bit of research and playing in sandbox - We utilize CPQ Templates today - with the help of quote terms as well and conditional print fields. I’m not 100% sold that DocGen could be the answer for us. We have a complicated use case unfortunately.  I did find documentation yesterday on DS’ site and downloaded a managed package “DocuSign CPQ Converter” but it doesn’t look a tool to help convert templates.
