DocuSign Envelope Status Not Translating in Salesforce (dfsle__Status__c Text Field)

We are using the official DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce managed package, and we noticed that the dfsle__Status__c field on the dfsle__Envelope__c object is a Text field populated directly by the DocuSign API (e.g., “Sent”, “Completed”, “Declined”, etc.). Even though our Salesforce org and user language are set to French, the envelope statuses remain in English because the field is not a Picklist and therefore cannot be translated using Translation Workbench. Since the value is stored as raw text from DocuSign, we cannot apply standard Salesforce translation mechanisms. Is there a recommended or officially supported way to handle multilingual status display in Salesforce when using the DocuSign managed package?

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community!

Since the DSF (DocuSign France SAS) is legacy and will soon be sunset, the team may or may not consider adding an enhancement to the APP to support this functionality.
However, you can still try to open an enhancement request to have this option implemented on the Docusign Apps Launcher. This would be an extremely useful new functionality for DAL.
