Hello Everyone,
I have the following situation:
I created a template for a protocol. In it I defined a textmark for DocuSign, let’s call it /Sign1/. Since this document is a template it gets copied and the copies get edited. What I want to do now is the following:
I want to put several of the copies in one envelope via PowerAutomate to signed each. The flow I created works fine and sends the envelope to the recipients who then are able to sign the documents.

BUT they are required to sign each document as much times as documents are in the envelope. Like when I put 3 documents are in the envelope they have to hit the sign button three times on each documents. I guesss this is corresponding to the /Sign1/-textmarks which are in the envelope.

Is there any way to work around this issue?

Thanks in advance

Hello @JHu,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Docusign Community—great to have you here!

If you do not want the signature tab to show up on certain documents, it’s best not to use the template. When using anchor tags, you can’t really pick and choose which anchor string get tags. This is how Docusign works and not related to Power Automate.

Additionally, may I ask why /Sign1/ anchor strings included in documents not intended for signing?

Hello Jenny,
Thank you for the nice words.

I want the signature tab to show up on each document. But only once, not as many times as I add a file. When I try my flow with only one document per envelope everything works fine. But as I multiply the same document I am requred to click each signature tab as many times as documents are in the envelope. But I want to sign it only once.

I will try to modify the content of the documents, so that it changes the anchor string to a version counting up. Liks /Sign1.1/ /Sign1.2/ etc.

But if you have any further ideas what I can do I will be glad to test them :)

Best regards

JHu

Okay @Jenny.Martin,
there is no way with default connectors to replace a string within a .docx-file.

I appreciate any ider for a workaround.

Best regards

JHu
