Hello,

We received a reminder from DocuSign about Microsoft sunsetting the old SharePoint Online connector on April 2, 2026, and that migration is required to avoid service disruption.

We have tried to work through this ourselves, but we have not been able to complete the migration successfully. We would like to make use of the complimentary consultation with a DocuSign expert, as mentioned in the communication we received.

However, despite contacting DocuSign multiple times by email (already twice), we have not received any response.

Could someone from DocuSign please advise on:

  • how we can get in touch with the right team,
  • how to schedule the complimentary consultation,
  • and what the best migration path is between the organisation-wide connector and the new site-level connector?

We want to make sure this is resolved well before April 2, 2026 to avoid any service issues.

Thank you in advance.

Hello @Logtie83
Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! Thank you for bringing this up. I completely understand how concerning this situation must be, especially with the April 2 deadline approaching. It’s definitely frustrating to have already reached out multiple times without receiving a response, particularly when you’re trying to avoid any potential service disruption. You’re absolutely right to prioritize this migration early, and I appreciate the effort you’ve already put into working through it on your own.
As for the Complimentary Consultation, this needs to be set up through the Account Team. And with regards to the Organization Edition and Site Edition versions for the Docusign for SharePoint apps I have included a description of these below, as well as the relevant migration guide:

Organization Edition - This is the most similar to the Legacy version of the app. It is installed per site but has access to all SharePoint sites in your Site Collection, allowing it to write completed documents to any Site. It requires a Microsoft 365 Global Admin to Grant Consent to the app as part of setup.
Recommended - Migrate From Docusign for SharePoint Online (Legacy) to Docusign for SharePoint (Organization Edition)

Site Edition - This edition is also installed per site, but does not have access to any other sites. It can only access information on the site that it is installed on.
As a result, the option to select a custom download location is unavailable in this edition. Also, this edition requires the Global Admin user to both Grant Consent and Authorize the app through the Microsoft Graph api.

The guide says that you will need to uninstall the legacy app before installing the Site edition. Still, there are no issues with waiting until the Site edition is installed before removing the legacy version.

We recommend installing the Organization edition unless you specifically want to restrict DocuSign to only access and write documents to the site it is installed on.
Since you mentioned you already spoke with support, could you provide the existing support ticket number via private message so we can check further?
