Is it possible to send Docusign email with the user who initiates docusign from Dynamics 365 crm. The power automate connectors have Account value to fill which expects Docusign Account details and CRM User details cannot be filled there.

The Docusign email should be sent from the business user’s name/email address.

Currently Docusign email domain(*****@docusign.net) is sending notification emails to User. This can be updated by creating a custom domain with specific email address. Once custom domain is configured, emails would be sent through custom domain email address.

 

Specfic Requirement :

Is it possible to send Docusign email with the user who initiates docusign from Dynamics 365 crm. The power automate connectors have Account value to fill which expects Docusign Account details and CRM User details cannot be filled there.

 

Emails must be send with the business user email id instead of docusign domain or custom domain.

I have a requirement where, whenever an envelope is sent through DocuSign, the recipient currently sees "docusign.net" as the sender's email domain (e.g., dse_demo@docusign.net). Instead, I would like the recipient to see the actual email address of the person who sent the envelope (e.g., john.doe@example.com).

Here are my questions:

  1. Is it possible to achieve this using DocuSign APIs? Specifically:

    • Can we dynamically provide a unique sender email address for every envelope we send through the API?
    • Can this email address replace the docusign.net domain so the recipient sees the actual sender's email in their inbox?

If the above requirement is not possible, what are the recommended solutions to achieve better sender identification and transparency?
 

The goal is to provide better transparency and identification for recipients, allowing them to immediately recognize the sender. Let me know if this is achievable and what solutions can take me closer to this requirement.

Hello ​@kumar24sep,

No, you can't use a different sender other than the system sender setup within Power Automate with the out of the box connector.

But you could use a generic email address for the sender and then customize the email message sent to the recipient to contain the senders name dynamically in the email body, but support for setting this up is outside of our scope.
